Thousands of leaflets delivered in Leek

Tremendous few hours delivering my leaflet in Leek at the weekend. Really good talks on doorsteps and some saying they’ve seen a few more cop cars around and about.

An amazing charitable enterprise doing invaluable work

Just occasionally you see or visit or hear of something that takes your breath away. Tamworth police watchdog launched today

Visible policing on the up as promised!

Really heartening talk with frontline officers yesterday about the new mobile tablets. They are saying that the latest release of Apps are police processes that make the biggest practical difference

Great debate with the ladies

Snow still on the ground as I arrived for an evening of debate (and of course tea) at Brown Edge Women's Institute in the Moorlands.

80% reduction in people with mental health issues ending up in a police cell

Despite not committing a crime, people suffering from mental health issues and involved in police incidents have ended up in cells because suitable healthcare facilities haven’t been available. It’s a scandal that’s quietly happened across the UK, and in Staffordshire, for many years.
